The State Marina at Indian River, Delaware, is the home of the Reel Escape. The Reel Escape is custom built 38 foot Carolina Sonny Briggs flybridge with a comfortable air conditioned cabin and private bathroom. Carolina boat builders know you want to fish...not chum, so the boat's hull is designed to slice through the waves in choppy seas, providing a ride that is smoother than a much larger boat. A pair of 375 HP turbo-charged CAT diesel engines push the Reel Escape to where the fish are in a hurry so you'll get more fishing for your time on the water. The extaordinary compliment of Fish Finding and Safety Equipment include 48 mile radar, color fishfinder and plotter, vhf and ssb radios, GPS, Loran, Emergency locating transmitter, and a fully- provisioned 8 man inflatable life raft.

Make your reservations as soon as possible as our calendar fills quickly once the fishing season begins. Charters are for up to six persons, all charters must be confirmed with a $100 deposit.
Inshore Trolling Bluefish, Macherel, Albacore (8 Hours) $700
Offshore Canyon Trolling or Chunking Tuna, Marlin, Shark, Dolphin (13 Hours) $1350
Overnight Canyon Drift/Trolling (20 Hours) $2000
All bait & tackle, water, and ice are provided. Bring what you would like to eat and drink for your day at sea. Consider a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and a camera.
